Andrena Hale is a showrunner, executive producer, writer, and director with over 35 television credits spanning documentary series, primetime network entertainment, and scripted film. Her work — including Hip Hop Treasures, The Black Beauty Effect, American Gangster: Trap Queens, and Time of Essence — has aired across ABC, CBS, Netflix, Fox, MAX, BET, A&E, Bravo, VICE, and WeTV. Most recently she co-wrote and directed her debut scripted feature, Thru the Eyes of the Hustlers' Daughter. She is currently in development on a slate of documentary and scripted projects and splits her time between Los Angeles and Detroit.
